Confidence is a much better predictor of students' achievement than any other non-cognitive measure. It acts in a way that overcomes everything!
Many PYP classrooms took time to wish students in grades 3-8, good luck! We enjoyed "Prep" Rallies in all testing grades, Learner Profile t-shirts that students had friends and staff members sign with positive messages, teachers wrote notes to students, parents donated snacks, and students took a pledge to have a great attitude and to put forth their best effort. As an incentive to those who keep their pledge, dress down tickets can be earned and each grade level chose an end of the year fun day/dance for May.
Good luck to all of our students as you show just how KNOWLEDGEABLE you are!
We all believe in you!

Fun around school!
