Each week, we celebrate those who are demonstrating the IB attributes and attitudes. We also celebrate birthdays, sports, the arts, and highlight community partnerships.

Model UN

Model United Nations, also known as Model UN or MUN, is an extra-curricular activity in which students typically roleplay delegates to the United Nations and simulate UN committees. This activity takes place at MUN conferences. At the end of most conferences, outstanding delegates in each committee are recognized and given an award certificate; the Best Delegate in each committee, however, receives a gavel. Thousands of middle school, high school, and college students across the country and around the world participate in Model United Nations, which involves substantial researching, public speaking, debating, and writing skills, as well as critical thinking, teamwork, and leadership abilities.

Selfies in our Favorite Space at CIS

We spend a great deal of time at CIS, it's only natural that we would want it to feel like home, and like home...everyone has a favorite place that brings them joy, peace, and inspiration.

Can you tell which space each teacher has chosen?

We APPRECIATE Teachers who Coach

Boys Basketball: Mr. Hicks & Mr. Mathis
Girls Basketball: Ms. Perry
Hi-Steppers: Mrs. Laughbaum
Boys Track: Mr. Dudik

It takes Dedication and Passion to do this work.

At CIS, we Love what we Do!
