It is with a combination of sadness and excitement that I share with you the news that I have accepted the position as Principal at James A. Garfield School in Cleveland.
I want to thank each and every one of you for all of your support, and for entrusting me with your children for the past 6 years. I feel so fortunate to have been given the opportunity to be a part of the Campus International School Community, and will forever be an “Explorer of the World.”
Know that my dedication to CIS will continue as I transition to my new position. Although I am changing buildings, I will remain a committed member of the Cleveland Metropolitan School District and an advocate for children.
Saying goodbye to our students is the hardest part of leaving. Please give them a hug and let them know they touched my heart and life, and I will cherish our memories forever.
I wish every family all the best and look forward to hearing the continued good news about the work being done amongst this dedicated staff and families. You are all amazing and are doing great things to make the world a better place.
“How lucky am I to have something that makes saying goodbye so hard.”
